Daz Love
WW - Mark has been set!! Tough little course, narrow trails in woodland that is a 3 lapper so loads of passing. Also has a 180 degree turn so was a little congestion at that point (especially on lap 3). Lovely place though. GPS kept losing so didn't really have a clue on pace!

Managed a 18:55 and 6th place. Be interesting to see what you do. You are in better shape than me so will have 5p on you doing around 18:30ish.. 😜😜

nice work Daz.

I took the shoes to Bushy parkrun this morning so that there could be no question over the authenticity of the distance / course.

You'll have to go to my training log to see the outcome - I'm too modest to post it here :-)

Fuck me that's quick. Are going to do a series of tests swapping between them and your other shoes? Of course 1 min per 5k is not really a realistic estimate of the benefit (unless you usually run in wellies perhaps).

ha. I enjoyed that. Peacey - I'll refund your train ticket if you're on the train to the Nike store!!

I thought I'd left enough hints in my training log entry. And you know if it's not on strava then it's not true 😜

I actually ran my normal one hour loop in them this morning, it took me less than an hour but that could easily have been because I ran a bit faster! There is defo something about them, will race a hm in them in Sep and see if it might be worth a pop at a longer run and maybe the mara.

Good time Daz. I don't like off-road, might not bother if there's too much risk of an ankle twist.

Unbelievable WW.

Oddly I am running much faster than usual despite the heat here in Malaga. A decent ten miles this morning. Some guy in a triathlon top passed me after about six miles. At seven he was a bit ahead and I just thought bugger this and upped the pace and passed him. Saw a few big groups out with camelbacks for long runs. Might be the week off and lower mileage but I am enjoying running here.
