Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Phew! we get to keep our souls then ;)

20.26 this morning at the time trial, well pleased with that. Picked up a nemesis on shoulder at about 1.5k he just beat me in the finish but made us both push a lot harder in the mid section, so was all good.

That's great, MP! Well done - you're improving at a blinding rate at the moment. I think that'll translate into a sub-20 in a not-so-offroad 5k. I'm normally 30 secs quicker at Bushy than Wimbledon. It's always nice to have someone to race in a race.

I am a little kinder on the soul than a certain soul stealer :o)

How did the intervals go today SOD?

Well Done MP :-)

Nice training run for me this morning of 22:50 for the 5k with a strong headwind and a hangover from too much wine last night. I remember the days (about March this year) when sub-25 would have killed me so ...feeling good :-) A few more weeks of intervals and I'll be ready to have a crack at a PB in December.

Any one racing this weekend?

Just got back...knackered...don't have a track anywhere near to train on so I did runs between the speed limit sign at the edge of my village to the white house down the road...(approx 350 metres)...Gentle jog for 10 minutes to warm-up muscles, some stretching and then 10 reps of sprinting up-hill to the white house and slow recovery jog back down again...turn around and repeat!...then a 10 minute cool down jog.
