I was excited as just entered Chester Marathon, but then realised this is for English clubs only

Strange that they haven't included London ...
Damo presumably this is a home international so there'll be other teams?

Presumably these are all quite different courses - masters rankings are so close it would all come down to choosing right course in the right weather.
I'd like to go to Bournemouth - hear there's some fast boys down there

James - I have run Yorks and Bournemouth. Even a Lancastrian like me would have to admit that you should go to Yorks if you're looking for a time.

I'll be at Chester Marathon again this year. I know the course very well if anyone hasn't done it before and has any questions. Basically it's a bit bumpy the first few miles then flat until 16miles and then gentle hills until 23.5 and there's a big hill. Then down to the end. Probably about a minute added on for an equivalent flat one; I think, what do others think who have done it before?

Thanks for course preview mile monster, it will be my first time in Chester. That route is very similar to my Sunday long run route, so i guess that is good.
