Don't think ages group champs makes sense. Also those runners would get more company in the standard starts.

We already have a vet champs which is usually an autumn event, was York the year I did it. Often Chester too I think.

I see 64 year old Tommy Hughes ran 2:36:38 in the Belfast Marathon on Sunday. Come on, guys, how hard can it be? :)

It actually works out at 99.71%, which is puzzling because I thought it was a new world record for age 64 (in which case it should be over 100%). But truly amazing whatever.

Pretty sure it is a new WR, but they smooth the graph to avoid odd outliers (e.g. if WR 63 and 65 were disproportionately slower than 64 for example)
