Nice one Bobby, good luck Will. Next year we all have a New Forest 10 love fest. I'll be going for around 58 I reckon, running like Nijinsky at the mo. |

Podium.....! Got 1st place in my "holiday" marathon up in Orkney on Sunday 3rd. It was a hilly exposed course, about 400m climb and into the wind for about 21 miles since it was an East-West course. And Orkney is a windy place. Anyway, I managed to post a personal worst marathon time of 2:58, which was a bit disappointing but nice to get the win. Comforting to be the only person to break 3 hours and see that 2nd and 3rd place were 12+ minutes slower than marathon times they posted earlier in the year. Had a chilled week afterwards camping with the family & exploring. Good blogging JI, keep it up. When is your peaks Sky Race, Bob? |

Happy Friday all. Pretty stanard running weekend here. Raced a 5k Wednesday, things seem back to normal as per pre London. Everyone else good? Much going on? |

local fell race last night, legs felt ok.....managed to take a wrong turn and lose a minute or so though. Doh! I've only done it about 3 times before as well. Still, bootiful evening for a run, so still enjoyed it. No real objectives just now, so gonna get my inspiration thinking cap on this weekend.... How was your 5K? |

15:47 is good!! I managed 17:19 at the City race 5k in London last night, which is about a minute faster than I've been going at parkrun. My run at Ware 10k was shocking so glad to move on from that so quickly.
