When we were down at Hayling Island we saw a good number of people on them...they look like fun and the water was fairly still that day. Have fun! :)

Horseflies love me, but I’ve become sensitive to feeling when they are just starting to do whatever they start off with and so can stop them before it goes to far.

There are no horses in the field at the back of my house so why don’t they buzz off!

Horseflies (Clegs) are one of the few things I react to. Find swiftly administered piriton tablet does the trick so always have some in my running bag.

Ugh, I've not met many of those (horseflies)...not here or in Canada. The mozzies in Canada love me!!

Easy 4.5 miles this morning...muggy out but cool and a nice breeze.

I have meds from the doctor and anti-histamines from Tesco. Got to have a rest from running, but power walking seems ok :) and I can do a mile under 15 mins so it's all good.

I have no problem with mozzies or midges, rarely bite and only mildly annoying if they do. But I do seem to react to horse flies and they almost always get infected. I think because the skin is already sweaty and dirty when they bite, rather than me scratching at it after. Think I will dig out the DEET so it doesn't happen again.

Day 138 for me today. My next badge will be 200 days as I have the 150 already from a while ago.

Day 238 with a short streak saver. Very pleasant without the heat. I think there is a 250 badge?
