Aww I love the heather.
Everywhere is purple up here too (North York Moors).
Need to do a Heather run before it all goes again.

My first experience of heather in bloom was from being around the NY Moors on the way to places like Whitby cackle. I thought this year was going to be poor but it appears to be a good ‘in after all

Big losses early on due to heather beetle, seems to have affected the baby grouse more than the heather itself.

ooh chunky, close to the ton now!

Day 140 with a streaksaver. I need to eat more to catch up on eating (or lack of) this week when it was so hot.

Day 240 with 7.5 miles this morning. Left ankle playing up a bit so may stick to streak savers for a few days.
