Some cupboards really do need a good tidy but probably a week is stretching it a bit. It all all depends on how many tea breaks I might need 😉

Same here - doing bits and pieces, but if I leave space one or other offspring whether in residence or not, manages to fill it

(And :iL keeps sending Husband home with random *stuff* too, *sighs*

I need to rearrange my office space now I finally have the shelves put in place (Ikea Kallax). I just dumped things into some of the boxes but need to locate one of my camera lenses!

I need to do more decluttering. I did quite a lot when I first retired but lost my mojo for it.
I’m determined to make a start on the loft after Christmas - that’s a terrible mess.

Biggest issue with 2023 decluttering is going to the dump, sorry household waste recycling centre.

You have to pre book a slot (although that helps keep you honest). Then when you turn up there’s a bewildering number of bins you have to use - with Hi Viz vigilantes patrolling to make sure you use the right ones.

They’re especially all over you when you head for the non recycling ‘bin of shame’. I had a load of stuff in a black bin liner for that bin. I dropped it in was then told ‘WAIT!!!!’. The hi viz vigilante then ripped the bin liner open and had a rummage to see if I’d committed the crime of having recyclable stuff in there.

It’s literally a relief when you get out of there….
