I’m hoping this is the right time as once I get past Xmas and new year I plan to de clutter rooms and cupboards so dark, wet days will help me stay in and do them. Spring will arrive and I will be ready.

I was going to say I didn't believe clutter would settle long enough in your house for you to need to declutter, LipGloss, then I remembered .B.'s recent activity.

I’m still hoping for spring, but I have just taken on a brand new team at work, and I not want to leave so soon.

I did one round of decluttering, at a leisurely pace, when I retired 8 years ago. I've now progressed to round two of decluttering, much more ruthless now. |

Had a round of decluttering when my wife died, also starting a brutal round 2 declutter as moving house! Bits I’ve done so far (doing a phased approach, with a room a week target) have been satisfying. |

I'm aiming for a room a week so that I don't get fed up too soon. Also have a few gym classes booked

LipGloss now you're retired, there's no rush. One room a week is quite ambitious, unless you haven't got years of stuff shoved in cupboards like I had. |
