I go to three U3A table tennis sessions a week. I've enjoyed it so much, I've now joined a 'proper' table tennis club. 🏓 😊

My dad goes to a u3a play reading group, they read the plays at home and then meet up to discuss them. I’m sure its more interesting than it sounds 🤔

I used to teach a yoga class for the local U3A and got invited to all sorts. Great fun and so many activities and: outings! A bus to a show in London etc etc

I’ve not heard of U3A until now. There’s a group in the next village. Ukelele and archery sound fun (on different days, not together).

I've known about U3A for many years but it seems mainly discussion groups or languages in my area. The only "activity" is a walking group that meets once a month, same time as parkrun and tbh none of their routes are inspiring and sound pretty sedate in pace!

U3A round here are amazing - everything from belly dancing, walking, gardening clubs, you name it they have a group or class for it. I’m not old enough yet, obviously :-p

Retirement still a way off for me but got the Mortgage paid off this month.

Next big milestone is now retirement so one step closer. I am still hoping to get to 55ish and get made redundant (I read here with interest that others want that and doesnt often pan out ideally) I will have been in the same place for 35 years by then!

My big conundrum would be if I was offered it in the near future. Would be a decent pay off that may never come again, but then would need to find a new job!!!
