I think it's more Rotary club than anything else, although I guess Rotary has a fair overlap in terms of demographic with the funny handshake brigade if the people I know are typical.

I’ve not done any of their groups/courses but plenty of my neighbours do. They hire our meeting room at St Clements for several groups and last night left all the windows open on the coldest night of the year!

I could have pushed for redundancy but it might not have happened and would almost certainly have got nasty. I decided just to get on with it knowing in 8 months time I can maybe make my own choice and leave on my own terms There was talk of a possible partial concesssion, but that wasnt in todays comms albeit I was told privately that might still happen In the comms session with more detail provided sadly this has raised even more questions for me and specifically on my role and where they have placed it. Some of the answers I was given and rationale make no sense really when you see the whole comms. Lots of other bizarre things going on as well. I need to think about how I point this out to them. They will be well and truly sick of me and maybe will wish they had red penned my name on the structure chart.
