A Wagon Wheel was 50 yards across and fed a family of four for 3 weeks when I was young.

House prices! "Back in 1972, the average UK property was valued at just £5,158. Adjusted for inflation, this still amounts to a very affordable £49,333 by today’s standards.

Today, the average UK homebuyer is forking out £278,436 on the average property. That’s a total increase of 464%, with house prices climbing by an average of 9.3%, or £4,582, every single year over the last 50 years."

In fact I've just got on the park and ride bus after lunch out, followed by coffee (loyalty card stamped ), followed by a talk on the recent archaeological excavations at Leicester Cathedral Who was speaking ThorntonRunner? DiL worked on the dig all the way through Middle Boy was manning a stand at the Reconstructing Leicester event on Saturday

It was Matthew Morris - very interesting :)

The Blonde Army of the Federation, I have ascertained, are REALLY good at one thing.

Getting rid of staff.

They are so efficient at it.

They must be.
They gave me a gift today...... my P45.

I'm still working until Thursday even though my last working day is tomorrow

Has anyone done anything with U3A?

We went to our first event yesterday, (a dance class 😱😱). We really enjoyed it even if I am definitely at the Les Dennis end of the ability scale!
