Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
I have had to pop my little plants into the ground as we arwill away for 8 days, they would have died without watering had they remained in pots, at least they have a fighting chance of survival as long as the slug pellets do their job.

I hadn’t planted any but Liebling has found some in the garden that must have self seeded from last year’s lot. Back in the game.

I have some at the allotment which self seeded from last year. Tomorrow I’ll pluck up the courage to inspect the ones I planted there!

Some slugs seem to have flown up to get the one at the back. Trying to resist putting down pellets. Also trying to find when I planted - hoping I didn’t jump the gun.

I've put the best 15 of my first batch into big pots at the front door and discarded the rest.
Slug pellets have been deployed because they're a bit puny to be going out into their final position. The others will be potted on; their final position is still occupied by winter flowering pansies that have gone manic. I can't rip up all those little faces.

Some molluscs have pretty much destroyed the Pike's Peak which I thought might be my tallest. Russian Giants from ancient seeds are still going strong, and Tall Single needs to straighten out a bit. Though none as tall as Nightjar's look just yet!
