Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Weight 10st 10lb would like to fit into my tri suit by May. Yesterdays fast was fine, today though we are all sick, even the dog, a horrible bug brought home from my kids. Not sure what my plans are for the week ahead I just want to recover first. Have a good day though

Well a couple of guys i know through work have been doing this for probably 12 weeks now, and both love it, and both have lost in excess of a stone.

Good luck.

Sounds good lammo. I am planning on starting tomorrow. As I am doing no exercise at the moment it won't interfere with any training! Thinking of digging out my pilates DVD tho to help things along on the non fast days. Just sick of being fat and teetering on overweight, no time or motivation to properly calorie count and go to the gym. Wrong time of year for me. So hoping this will suit me.

Will mostly be eating soup (around 300 cals a can and filling) at lunch and maybe low fat crackers (crispbreads - 20 cals each) and fruit/veg for tea.

Mikuro , I'm the same weight as you and started the 5:2 last week. This is my day 2. I lost 20 lbs last year and have blogged about it and the 5:2 on here howilostweight.co.uk - you have to scroll down a bit as the last couple of posts have been about running - its morphed into a running and weight loss blog now! The blog about 5:2 was posted on Wed last week. I'm hoping to lose another half a stone.
