Marchbanks merrily on high
Hi kaiser, no you can have anything with your 500 calories. Not many rules as such but the link just told the story of the TV programme about the study of the diet back in august. Good luck!

Fast day for me and I've had a tin of frey bentos tomato soup 236 calories with nimble bread 51 calories a slice. Really enjoyed the soup and a bonus it was 10p from asda on promotion, think I'll have the same again for dinner minus the bread.

Done my first day today. Fasting. Managed to limit to 670 calories so nearly hit the goal of 600. Not feeling too bad just a little hungry. :) Next fast day planned for Tuesday. I'm going to give it a try for a month and see what happens. Also planning on 20-30 minutes pre-breakfast exercise every morning to shift this extra timber I'm carrying after 12 months of not doing a lot. Watch this space....

Welcome to Fetch mudskipper. I'm back on it on Monday. I find it easier to skip breakfast and lunch and then eat a healthy tea. I expected to ne tired grumpy and headachy on fast days bit as long as I drink enough I'm fine. I don: exercise on fast days other than a walk at lunchtime.

Hi Susie. I've been round a loooooooong time but managed to de-register myself recently. Thanks for the welcome though. :) Exercise twice today - 30 minutes on the turbo this morning then a gentle two mile run with my son at lunchtime. Felt OK :) I will see how things go over the next 4 weeks.

Oops sorry! Was that so that people would be nice to you for 100 posts :-)

I might be brave and try exercise on fast days. I had visions of being weak and pathetic but maybe that's in my mind
