lurked by accident this time, LMH :)
I'd be happy with a 3hr half at the moment!

I’m guessing you’re a bit fed up with the cold lmh? Luckily mines not bad but has been 2 weeks already and is annoying enough.

Looks like brunski has been having fun in the sun, getting some warm weather training in for the marathon can’t hurt

A happy accident for me Rosehip.

Slight understatement Chris. :-)

I would love some warm weather. Nice enough today but the forecast for the rest of the week is pretty pants.

Yeah warm weather training camp has been enjoyable so far, what I will say is once you've seen one catacomb you've pretty much seen them all.

Everywhere I run from here in Malta is hilly, but scenic. Struggling to hit any pace whatsoever so hoping mainly easy mileage with some hills thrown in plus loads of walking helps with the endurance!

Running hard in warm weather is tough but at least you’ll have the best tan lines in Boston 😁

Last mlr today and I’m glad to see the back of them. Time to start tapering but I have the tricky choose of how to run a local 10k on Sunday. Its basically running up and down a hill twice so I’m not sure I want to risk running it too hard

Tempo up the hill, and open the legs up on the downs?

Running downhill with good form is probably my favourite running feeling, it's like you're trying but not pushing at the same time.

That or a nice wooded path that's just icy enough to be hard/compact but runnable.

Icy path sounds like a good comparison, always wondering if the next step will be the last.

Just to add some extra fun it’s supposed to be 40mph winds on Sunday, I really hope that’s blowing us up the hill otherwise I’ll be walking up

The forecast is looking equally rough here Chris. I thought the weather was bound to improve once I was tapering and couldn't run as much as I'd like but there's no sign of it yet.

Expecting the endless wind and rain to switch into a heatwave within the next fortnight to line up with all the big marathon days. I hate the Springtime body shock of hot weather racing when you’re not used to it.

I’ve just self-tested an iron deficiency - trying for a blood test for specifics.

Feel pleased in a way as it accounts for my struggles over the last few weeks, but hoping I can bounce back within 3 weeks!
