Throat still sore, glands up, gunky. Not coughing during the day generally but had to get up to take cough mix in the middle of the night and when I stop running I sound like a very bad advert for exercise as I'm coughing so much. Thought I was either going to cough myself into an asthma attack or throwing up at the end of my run on Sunday. Other than that not feeling too bad. :-)

You've certainly got a good one there, I do have a bit of a cough when I get home but nowhere near as bad as you!

This is the downside of Spring marathons, too many bugs around! I'm just hoping this one is out of the way and I won't get anymore before the start line

You need to live like a hermit :-) that was always my strategy, didn’t work so well this year but I blame my FiL for that.

That was certainly a benefit of Covid, 2020 was the best training year I've ever had

My marathon and HM PBs (that aren't race PBs) came from 2020.

The virtual was Virtual London so might argue that sort of counted, but cant claim my HM in a club GPS timetrial.

To be fair at least I haven't ended up with a chest infection and on steroids - that's happened shortly before several of my Londons!

That really is looking for the silver lining in it!

Run done today and managed the planned pace so I’m happy. Just need to get this week done and I’ll be happy

It's the best I can come up with Chris!

The inevitable head cold sniffle has arrived, mild but runny nose & sore ears/sinuses. Daughter is v.snotty too, I think it is from Sunday night.

Today's easy miles will be run wrapped up warm with option to cut short, then see where I'm at tomorrow.
