Thanks guys, yes of course it's the mind haunting you a bit. But you have all been there, it's a process, with curve balls :)
I woke up to day to gale winds, sub 0, and the first snow, 😱 but maybe that mean that that weather blowing past earlier that the forecast are saying.

Thanks JDA, yes maybe i have a little headroom for some improvement even though i did an ok marathon a couple a weeks ago. I'll try to chisel away a little bit more towards 3h and collect some experience.
Thanks SPR, indeed it is. It's not only anxiety feelings either :), i also look forward to the race a bit so that's good :)
I will Windsor, thanks!

Bad luck, looks like a good effort in tough conditions. Look forward to the blog.

Too much wind and way too cold.
We are convinced you were in sub-3 shape, but the weather didn't cooperate.

Too hot for good marathon times is more frequent, but too cold can happen ( remember Boston 2018)

That is still a very good effort in the conditions.

Chees guys, yea it was quite rough JDA :)
Yea I think the conditions took a fair chunk of my capacity, I have more in me charlesvdw.
But that marathoning, a lot of things must work.

That's still a useful PB and given those conditions it's clear that you are closing in on 3h...

Commiserations Bowman, but a valiant attempt in the conditions.

No marathon, or the training for one, is ever wasted effort. You've gotten fitter, you'll focus on the next one and you'll go faster :)
