That's bound to have an impact on your running, Dvorak. Plus you have the Scottish wind and rain to contend with.

Dvorak
Running and training generally- on returning from work I generally feel much more like having a beer, and often a sleep. I am trying sometimes to postpone these until after a little bit of activity, sometimes.

Unusually though, I can't currently blame the weather, for parkruns anyway. Apart from one brutally windy day on the prom at Cramond ;-)

At least it's flat there, unlike the whole of the rest of Scotland :)

I’m hovering between 33.15 and 33.30 at the moment, can’t seem to improve on that.

GimmeMedals I’ve done Project Joker a couple of times and found it quite effective. I’m just a bit lazy at the moment and putting off starting it again!

I would like to join in not run a 5k since 2019 which was 26.45 but I know I am nowhere near that at the moment. Looking at last 10k I came in at 31.05.I also have 2 @5k races coming up before end of year.

The last 5K I did was in Feb. 2020, when I recorded 28:20. I have just had 2 months off running with a knee injury, and for much of that time I couldn't walk very much. Now I am cautiously getting back to running, and it will probably be another 2 months before I feel fit to try a parkrun again. I admire the efforts of all of you, but I think it will be a long time before I can get to sub-30 min. again - if ever, as I am just coming up to my 77th birthday in a couple of weeks.

I hope you don't mind me joining you here.
