I forgot to post my update: After a circuit session on Wednesday morning I did 5 minutes of skipping during which I set an annoyingly-close-to-a-century new PB of 98.

200 is brilliant UC.

Jennyh, I find that some days it clicks and some days it just doesn't. Don't be so hard on yourself. With continued practice I'm sure we'll get more consistent.

I have to admit that I carried on with the challenge after day 30 for a bit but having moved on to a new challenge for June and the lake re-opening for swimming I have dropped the daily skip. I haven't skipped for 4 days. I'll get out in the garden later if the rain holds off.

Luckily I have a space inside to skip as I find skipping outside when it’s windy is a bit more difficult.

Well done Nellers! It’s so frustrating falling just short of 100 - it took me a few goes to get to 100, I did get up to 118 unbroken skips a week or so ago. I think you’re right, some days are easier than others.

Cheers Rrunner, will check out the Garmin app later

Picked up my skipping rope for the first time in a while on Wednesday and knocked out 100 unbroken. Not sure how but I did it.

This was basically done to test the skipping function on my new watch, which miscounted and I can't yet work out how to calibrate it properly.

Sorry in advance - I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I find myself in quarantine with no possibility of running or swimming for 14 days and am thinking of buying a skipping rope. We have several at home but I'm at my Mum's. Any tips or recommendations?

I'm on day 4 of a random 30 day skipping challenge and really enjoying it. I hated the first two days, but since yesterday it seems to have clicked with me.
