Big G - there can be misunderstandings as first floor to an American ( or American company) is our ground floor 🤔

Good service it's turned up already.

Big G - to be honest I've not looked at shoes in a while as, well, I've not run much therefore haven't needed any new ones. But I am a fan of flyknit as you know.

I've not looked at shoes either for a while and certainly not bought any for ages.

Am taking a rest day today. RHR normal but legs feel tired.

I did a session on the new bike yesterday and it all seemed well, but I’ll see if it remembers its settings over the coming 2 or 3 days.

10.5 miles this morning including what is probably my favourite, local, hilly loop with stunning views over the bay. Cooler today, and with the sun out and clear skies it was a good run today.

Should be about 40-42 I think Shades, as I had a bad start to the week with a shorter run on Monday.

WP - wow gloves. Much better running conditions. It's a lot warmer here.

It really was perfect running weather. Sorry to hear a lot warmer with you!

About This Thread

Maintained by Shades
Back in December 2005 I started a thread on Runner's World offering a marathon training plan on 3 runs a week. I had my own running club at the time (Womens Running Network) and I had successfully trialled the training plan when I took a group of girls to Dublin to run their first marathon.

Over the years the thread has evolved into a chat thread, with a bit of training advice, race reports, for predominantly marathon runners.
