Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Big G-Thats like myself, lots of ifs but I will see over the next couple of months.I got 3:19 at Manchester last year,I'm hoping the exercises and diet will get me a few minutes off that, then the extra miles could sneak me a bit more off.

Ian - how's the diet going?

8 miles today. Although chilly if was really good conditions as that wind has dropped and not even a breeze. Roads dry and good for running, pavements not so good but as I was out so early I could use the roads.

Gym later.

8 miles for me also today and had a decent run.

We picked the car up yesterday, which we are really pleased with.

Last committee meeting for me last night. Iā€™m see Jacki W today for a handover, and then AGM tomorrow.

Keith - nice, I haven't tried that model, maybe too stable for me.

Do you still have the New Balance factory on your doorstep?

Big G - lovely getting a new car, enjoy.

You'll be relieved to do that handover.

WP - have a good session, that's already some weights lifted today. šŸ˜‰

Permission to join the 8 mile club šŸ«”

Bit earlier than normal today and the roads were so much busier so more stopping and starting than I like.
Shades-1lb this week,if I can average that each week I'll be delighted.

About This Thread

Maintained by Shades
Back in December 2005 I started a thread on Runner's World offering a marathon training plan on 3 runs a week. I had my own running club at the time (Womens Running Network) and I had successfully trialled the training plan when I took a group of girls to Dublin to run their first marathon.

Over the years the thread has evolved into a chat thread, with a bit of training advice, race reports, for predominantly marathon runners.
