Big G - that's a thought. Not sure anyone, even the regulars, would look there. I never read that part on any other threads I frequent. On a phone that part appears at the foot of the page too.

I'd still have to paste it in some form every week, wouldn't I? I don't think I can have a spreadsheet form to complete/edit.

Quite a few threads I use do keep it updated - ie, the athletics, pro cycling, 5K/10k/half/full/WAVA threads etc. Not sure if you can put a pic in there though so maybe it’s easier as you do it already.

I'll have a look tomorrow when I'm back on my PC.

I might lose the formatting if I copy and paste straight from Excel.

You can put pics in that side bit yes, not sure how big it can be and whether it would compress too much.

You can certaintly do it as a actual list though in the text bit and expand over the year. Some examples of these are below

Thanks Keith. Not keen on a list format unless I can have columns to make it neat and tidy.

Pic might be OK but if we get back to a normal year with Big G doing 20ish, me doing 12ish and others back to their usual number of races it might be too compressed. I'll experiment tomorrow, at least I can edit that section.

WP - that's good that all is improving including the sleep.

Don't worry @annadav all welcome here.

About This Thread

Maintained by Shades
Back in December 2005 I started a thread on Runner's World offering a marathon training plan on 3 runs a week. I had my own running club at the time (Womens Running Network) and I had successfully trialled the training plan when I took a group of girls to Dublin to run their first marathon.

Over the years the thread has evolved into a chat thread, with a bit of training advice, race reports, for predominantly marathon runners.
