I have another corn on a toe, same toe as before. it hasn't improved after three weeks of not running (therefore less shoe chafing), so while I was out buying a loaf this morning, I thought "I know, I'll also go to Morrisons and buy some corn plasters". I actually decided to buy two boxes so there was a spare for future use. When I got home, I thought "Where's the best place to put these? I know, the bathroom cabinet" - where I found another two boxes of corn plasters from the last time I had one. |

I was sucking a vitamin pill when I put a piece of apple pie into my mouth. Shortly afterwards I was wondering how a cherry stone had got into apple pie.

Not a senior moment, but yesterday our eldest grandchild got his National 5 and one Advanced results. It only seems recently that I was revelling in our own children's successes. I even think I wrote about one of them (b 1993) in Fetch but it must have been RW. He got As in his National 5 except German and a B in the Advanced exam. |

Nice way to live the senior life ChrisHB, congratulations to your grandson. UltraDunc, my husband is ALWAYS awake before me now. I used to be the early bird, I had no idea how annoying it was :-D

I got a new diary (academic year) and had forgotten to copy all my notes, including passwords, from last year's so I set about it. I had reset my password for a work account on Wednesday but could not for love nor money remember what it was and was dreading having to write to IT AGAIN to ask them to reset it. Then I found it written down in the notes at the back of my new diary. |
