My list was a bit battered so I am rewriting it, and needed to add a Sophie Hannah Poirot book. I went upstairs to find its name from the front piece of one of the others, went back down to write it on the list but had forgotten it. Back upstairs, read the name, go back down - I was also watching the Hundred and just as I got down Manchester Originals took a wicket. Watched the replay, by the end of it I'd forgotten the name. Back upstairs, got the name, back down and added it to my list. What was it called? I can't remember, something like the mystery of 3/4. I'll just go and check.

This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
