My wife complained that the milk hadn't been delivered.

I went into the kitchen a few minutes later, and it was standing next to the sink.

Our back door key which has loads of other keys was missing. Mrs Axe was the last known user of them. Eventually located in the cutlery drawer.

Didn’t bother me but the girls had to miss a chunk of love island.

I know that when i think about things to do, I'll forget them if I don't write them down. So I often email myself - via my phone - a list of the things to remember. Trouble is, I've got into the habit of a couple of seconds later seeing the email notification on my phone and looking to see who it's from!

Beverage related... tea wasn't brewing terribly well. I'd put in cold water from the Brita filter jug. Chucked that out, put in water from kettle. Hadn't boiled it. Took out tea bag, threw water in compost caddy. Gave up and made squash...

This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
