Yes I'm still married. The branch was very leafy so it kind of swallowed rather than injured him. He saw the funny side.

A senior moment from OH. A few weeks ago a couple of packages arrived from my parents for my birthday. OH put them away somewhere for safe keeping. He has no idea where that was and now we can't find them.

If anyone has any ideas where we should look...

Confession time..When OH eventually found the parcels (on the shoe rack above the hallway cupboard), I realised I had watched him put them there about a week ago. A senior moment for both of us...

This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
