My 90 year old mother (with whom I am spending lockdown) has a much better grasp of what day it is than I do. Oh dear.

Velociraptor
I took the washing in off the line, tipped it on to the sofa and started to fold it, then realised the cotton things could do with ten minutes in the tumble dryer. So I shuffled back through the house with an unstable bundle of clothes dangling from one arm and an empty basket dangling from the other hand.

I don’t really understand how you find your way back out of the shower without them.

Once (and only once) I discovered I had left my hearing aids in when I started washing my hair in the shower (they survived btw!)

WtnMel, my mum did that on the morning of my dad's funeral. She was absolutely hysterical and terrified she wouldn't be able to hear anything. I had no idea how they worked so I had to give her a very stern talking to to calm her down as she was the only one who could fix them. (I think some wire had come out a bit. It was nothing serious but she was so upset she couldn't concentrate.)
