I guess my lacklustre performance this morning means I'm not quite ready for the Marathon des Sables.

You're doing well Muttley and the terrain, although tough sounds great.
Excellent ten miles EP.
I know too many special nutters like you mentioned EP (including my wife!) who put my current efforts well into the shade. Ok..we all want some shade too!!

I’d have liked more shade this morning! I thought I might actually melt. 2/1 and v hot and hilly. It was strangely enjoyable to make myself do it!

So, this is what Gymboss said regarding the indefinite intervals:

---------------------
No, the Classic, Plus and Charge models can only be set to 99 rounds. However once it ends it will reset itself back to the beginning so you could just hit the start button to start the 99 rounds again.

The minMAX model can be set for almost an unlimited amount of rounds because it has the option to set intervals within intervals. However please note the miniMAX model is more difficult to set up initially and takes some practice to understand how it works. However once you "get it" so to speak its easy.
---------------------

Hmmm. I don't know if it tells you it's finished with a special beep or shake or whether you have to work it out for yourself by noticing it's gone quiet. Not ideal but hardly the end of the world. And an odd omission, in my ever so 'umble opinion.

You could maybe set it for a couple of reps the first time and see what it does at the end. I've mine set for 99 but never needed that many. Might help to see if anything happens.

I set my Garmin up to do the intervals I need. It’s only a 45 so nothing fancy.
