Jennywren. I'm with you I'm not even attempting to run in the heat 25degrees here. 6 mile walk instead which was enjoyable.

Doubt it'll help with running though. 🥺🥺

I could run to work but home would be silly

I wouldn’t even want to walk home tbh
So up at 5 and drag my butt out

Night-owl
I've not even tried any running even though in the past I've been a midday runner due to work pattern. I'm going to leave it till at least this hot spell is over next week fingers crossed then build up on the run walks

I'm sure it won't do any harm

No. I’m always a bit surprised that I can still run after weeks of only walking but I always can!

XB is right, you get into a rhythm easily on 30/30, at least I do. Even though the gym boss beeps out the timed bits my head knows exactly when to start and stop each ratio!
I've been an early morning person most of my 44 running years, if I'm not out by 7am at the very latest it's a rare occurrence and mostly I'm up at 5.30am and out asap. No heat worries!
You're well running conditioned jennywren.
And that's a wise decision Night owl.

Did 5k again , 30/30 this morning and then out to pick a kg of blackberries!

16c ideal early today. 30/30 even so took it out of me over just two miles. Covid after effects(?).

Fabulous Pam! Where can I get some of that magic?!
I did 5k... at a plod ... reluctantly stopped at half a mile and readjusted my gym boss to a lowly 20/20 as my breathing was laboured and I still have a bit if a rattle on my chest after covid. Although just 20 seconds I enjoyed it and was able to put some welly into it. 100 metres might just be my thing!!😂

I'm thinking maybe 45/30 might be worth a try for me because I just seem to get into a run and then it's walk time.
