Muttley
Still working at 30:30 out of respect for the rehabbing calf. All good, up to 2.5 miles on a flat route now. Next step is to try an incline or two. After that not sure whether to extend distance but remain at 30:30 or look to step up to 60:30.

That struggle didn't last long Lip Gloss! Great effort there so hope it continues.
I did project joker a few months ago and reached my goal but then my heart curiosity came along.
I'm still not doing well trying to extend my ratio so something isn't right.
Glad you're progressing well Muttley, maybe just try 30/45 first?

That's me too Lip Gloss. I nearly always get up at 5.45 am and out of the door before 6.30. It's a regime which I've been stuck with for thirty years. 44 years ago today, when I started running I could never run in the morning and always went out in the evening!

Still on 30/30 (wouldn't have accepted that forty four years ago😂) and a couple of double runs out in felt just about ok.

run commute
Lots of uphill walking but the bits where I am running I am definitely running faster than I was even a couple of weeks ago
Hopefully being more consistent (i.e. running training rather than tri training!) will see the pace improve as I have a cut off to meet for Chester which is actually almost PB pace from 12 years ago lol

Columba
3.83 miles this evening at 4:1 run:walk. There was a brutal hill in the middle but I managed to stick to the 4:1 rather than walk the uphill.

Well done Columba. I did the same yesterday. My hill came just at the start of my 4 minute run so I was determined not to walk it.
