Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

He left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to watch him play, but that was nothing compared to the indelible impression he left on the country following his diagnosis.

To be fair, they do win the cup occasionally. It's the league champions title they have been waiting 70 years for.

Just home from Wembley - great day out.

It’s a shame that the final has lost so many supporters from neutral clubs that would go every year and make it a great rugby day out. Definitely one of the downsides of super league has been the loss of prestige for the CC Final.

Very true. It's definitely second fiddle to the superleague grand final. Just short of 65K there though and still plenty of neutrals.

We always used to go every year but I stopped after my mum died and I didn't have anyone to go with. I don't really go to any matches any more, not just Wembley! Bizarrely we ended up in Warrington yesterday watching the tour of Britain, but escaped to Wigan before kick off ;)

About This Thread

As suggested on the blog of the esteemed @kev-eats-owt this is a place to discuss all things relating to rugby league. The Superleague season kicks off this weekend, the NRL in early March and hopefully we have a world cup to look forward to in the Autumn.
