Be a very one sided game that, Swittle. Salford should finish above London I would think. |

Be a very one sided game that, Swittle. Salford should finish above London I would think. Indeed. My Trinity correspondent tells me the game's been switched to 'new look' Post Office Road, Fev, as The Thunder didn't book their home stadium. Not the best of starts... ![]() |

As forecast a very poor start. A total lack of discipliner. should really have been 3 reds. Hull need to rely on being slightly better than London though on tonight’s showing from London I have my doubts. |

Be a very one sided game that, Swittle. So it's proving: 0 - 104 Maybe 20 min to go. |

With hindsight, Newcastle might have been better off skipping this cup and preparing for the start of League 1 instead. They've done well to pull a team together at short notice, but it is mostly the lads from last year's academy, and Trinity look to have a squad that could be competitive in superleague. Some great crowds over the weekend - the mood around RL seems to be more positive than in many years. The Cas v Wigan game on BBC wasn't the best, hopefully Wigan's world club challenge game against Penrith next week will be better. |

Indeed it is. Wakefield finally getting a proper stadium upgrade and looking like they will win the championship very easily this season too. I went to watch Widnes v Halifax yesterday, which was a very enjoyable game with quite a marked second half comeback. It was 4-14 at half-time, finished 40-14. Thought the Hull KR vs Leigh game on BBC on Saturday evening was a cracker too. |

My forecast about Hull FC is proving depressingly accurate. Coach gone and two of our overseas players as well. Hull are a shambles. Then Saints up next. I can see this being a superleague record score for Saints
