So very sad, swittle was always on hand with a kind word or comment on photos, I enjoyed reading about his late evening runs along the beach, I never had the good fortune to meet him in person, a great loss to this wonderful community

Such a true gentleman. I'm fairly local and will do all I can to attend his funeral.

I just... this is terrible news. I am so sorry.
He was my biggest cheerleader for the last eleven years - and lots of people cheered me on during some really tough times. After every setback or after every triumph he always fmails me.
A beautiful soul, and a true gentleman. I don't have any other words now.

Lovely photos pinks. Nice to put a face to the name. Looks like you had some good times with him.

Struggling to put this into words TBH, he's someone that I've chatted to virtually over a range of topics, and always came across as a genuinely lovely bloke. Hope the beach runs continue wherever you are now Switts

Terrible news. It was only a couple of weeks ago when he was posting on the rugby league thread about Wakefield's upcoming fixtures.
