So I've re-contacted the council, and asked to proceed via them. The cost is £200, which I'll cover - and when we get it all sorted, I'll figure out how you can donate to help cover the cost. Never met him in person but always came across as a lovely man.

If you read about his nightly beach runs you could almost have been running along beside him.

He always encouraged others especially on the How was your run thread.
