In terms of the brainwashing of minds, I hate to be one of those arrogant t...s but if only we could ask a qualifying question like plucking purely out of thin air "is the earth flat". Yes, and your vote doesn't count. Wonder how many millions Trump would lose by then.

Of course NYC won't go Trump - please try and keep up with the context before adding irrelevant remarks. So you are saying all Trump supporters think alike? Hmm. |

Trump just did an hour long press conference which involved taking no questions and was just him ranting about various things. At some point the media has just stop covering him when he does this. |

Trump has said this evening that **all** non-US citizens will be deported. Even those in the US legally. Descending past autocracy towards the f-word |

Given the Haitians he announced that would be deported this evening are all there legally, the commentary I am seeing on Bluesky suggests that it would assume green cards would be revoked at the federal level..... |

At this point his "policies" have gone beyond sense, beyond reason. It's all about ramping up the hate. It will be a winter of discontent for sure.

Meanwhile the at least as far right as Trump governor of texas and his attorney general are trying to make it illegal for another state to perform an abortion, not just in Texas. States rights when we disagree with the federal govt, but not when we disagree with what is allowed in other governments. Just like the state is too big until it comes to what a woman is allowed to do with her body or what goes on in a private bedroom between consenting adults. |
