My feeling is that as soon as the GOP tells Trump "it's time to go, thanks for all the bullshit" he will turn on them big time. It's what he does. At the very least he will still want to lord it over the party like an orange Don Corleone, giving thumbs up or thumbs down to any successors. And of course the acid test for the successor will be "How willing are you to kiss my ass?" |

I do get not voting full stop. I think Trump is massive danger so I don't see that as a great decision in this scenario. I do get people being resentful about having two rubbish choices though. I was in the states when Obama and Hilary were the candidates and several people I met were uneasy about the choice of voting for either a black man or (shock, horror) a woman. |

A pro-foxhunting group says it has prepared a legal case to try to prove that hunters are an ethnic minority whose hunts should be protected under equality laws. Seen some pretty daft stuff over the years but this one is pretty close to the top of the pile. Bloody idiots. |

robinmcalpine.org Someone on the pro independence side gets it. This is almost exactly what I have said all along and has been why the independence movement failed to build on 2014. The strategy form them became preaching to the converted and alienating the rest and somehow hoping demographics would deliver a majority. |

Interesting blog Baz, thanks for sharing. What he says strikes a chord with me. I wonder if anyone from the SNP will listen to him.
