Harris/Walz currently up 2.3% in the 538 polling average. Jolly good. More to come as well, I hope.

The betting markets now have it a coin flip. And whereas last week Trump was the slight favourite of that coin flip, it's now Harris.

One of the theories on the interweb is that Trump is "quiet quitting" the race, as evidenced by his lack of campaigning.
Which is good news if true, but also a bit worrisome because it might mean he goes to his backup plan, which is to bring chaos to the election process itself. How that might bring him victory I don't know, but it could certainly sow chaos and possibly violence.
November is going to be a trial whatever happens, I reckon. Chances of him conceding defeat even after a Democratic landslide must be close to zero if not zero. It wouldn't be a big surprise if he brought down the Republican party with him at some stage. He's a narcissist.

I thought Trump was 'lacking' money so campaigning might need to be more targeted?
Luckily this time I don't think it matters if he concedes defeat or not.

Great news if momentum swing in Harris favour. No problem if he quits from my point of view! G

Last I read the Dems have about 180,000 ground workers to juice the turnout and the Republicans were struggling.
Hard to get up the inspiration to get up off your bum and support such a douchebag I would think.

Stewart Lee in the Guardian..
The Tory party blamed the incoming Labour administration for the fire they set. Their own adviser Dame Sara Khan said Tories’ “inflammatory language” had “undermined social cohesion”. The right spent 15 years training a fat dog to shit in our house and now that it’s finally done loads of massive shits everywhere, they tell us it’s Labour’s fault for not killing the shitting dog five weeks ago. Or something.
Lol..

The Tory Hampshire police and crime commissioner Donna Jones said the riots were “upholding British values”. Do these include making toddlers chant the word “paki”, and stealing sausage rolls?

And cancelling hospital appointments and community events?
Setting fire to bins, libraries, food banks, citizens advice?
Wrecking streets of houses?
Assaulting police officers and dogs? Endangering human life?
These are all clearly British values according to the Tory base.
