I agree with JB re reading books. Reading builds empathy. I bought this book for our school library and I wish people who are intolerant of immigrants would read it: amazon.co.uk It's a powerful true story and it makes you realise that we are so lucky to be born in this country, and so much happens to people that is beyond their control. I'm getting emotional just thinking about this book, it really affected me when I read it. |

Not even sure'higher' is the word, perhaps better focused on social cohesion rather than just getting ahead.

Labour, well Ex, councillor arrested for video where he allegedly incites purple to cut the throats of fascists. Hope he gets the book thrown at him in exactly the way everyone else in this does. |

I need to reread JD Vance Hillbilly Elegy because I flicked through it today and the idea of coming home to broken homes full of drugs and shouting parents makes me look at my failures. Regardless of his current position I'm sure there are some lessons for me.

The Times hasn’t named her so I won’t cos I’m not sure she has elsewhere for certain yet. But she’s also a Covid denier, anti-vax and climate change hoaxer. She was also banned from Twitter until Musk took over and reinstated her. She fits the profile perfectly. Now reported that she's been arrested for publishing material to stir up racial hatred and malicious communication. That'll please the likes of Musk. Given his fake post yesterday, perhaps we can arrest him too! |

She is ridiculously easy to find but using few internet searches, including her home address. Would an angry mob turning up outside be poetic justice? |
