It is just the way of the world. We can play this game all day. All of us could eat a subsistence diet, we could have 20 people to a house. We could all stop driving, taking flights etc. But we don't, we make decisions each day that positively impact us, and take scarce resources from those in more difficult positions. We can all virtue signal if you like. I am currently writing this on some tree bark with a knife and giving it to someone to transcribe onto their phone. I have made an improvised shelter in the woods from what I could find and am currently sitting down to my berry lunch. I didn't pick them, I just watched the bush until they dropped. |

Yawn. It is coming for us all. I am three miles from a river so I should be one of the later ones. Pop over my way if it comes to you first.

If a protest didn't disrupt, it wouldn't be much of a protest. Finding the right balance there is key to ensuring your protest at least tries to win public support.

Judge sentencing narrative. Quite amusing in parts... t.co During your evidence you described yourself to the jury as "the most influential environmentalist in the country apart from Sir David Attenborough". I fear you may have got a bit carried away at that point |

Expect it will come out after he dies |

That sentencing narrative was quite an eye opener and shows that a reaction to "the sentence" without a knowledge of the facts of the trial fails to consider that "it's a bit more complicated than that". It's worth a read. |

Yeah it was a good 23 page read. I would hope the poll changed after reading it. Lots of suspended sentences prior to the latest offence, and didn't act as a deterrent.
