If we cut down too much and too quickly on O&G production it will mean loss of jobs here in Aberdeen and the UK will need to import it from elsewhere.

If mine turned up I'd ask if they'd like a cup of tea, then explain it's not because I approve of them, it's that I don't want their throat to go dry while trying to justify 14 years of failure.

Was hardly a scientific survey - given I skirted one town, went through a village and a few roadsides houses -but I had a short trip through part of Sunak country this morning. And there were more Labour posters than Conservative ones.
