Got my first leaflet through the door yesterday. My fiancee has had both Tory and lib dem addressed to her whereas I got labour addressed to me. Was very much locally saying what they have done and will done, not much about the other parties.

Whether we like it or not does ANYONE seriously believe we will have anything other than a Conservative government after the election!?
Only possible/reasonable doubt surely is how big will their majority be or will they indeed have an overall majority.
Even the whether or not they will have an overall majority is looking pretty clear.
Surely the biggest concern is given how a great many feel about Boris and the last 9 years of Conservative government there just isn't a credible challenge to them.
That is depressing, and the other parties nor realising this is even more depressing.

WTO pretty much finished as an organisation today because the US won't appoint judges to the disputes court.

HT. I think there will be a CON majority. But ~smallish. Maybe 20.

But MOE is probably -20 to +60, and I wouldn't be suprised by anything within that.

That is, if the polling is ~correct. If they've underestimated something then I expect a hung parl again.

I think Lab/Coalition maj v unlikely.

In my most optimistic moments I'm thinking a hung parliament that can scupper Johnson's disastrous plans.

The rest of the time I'm wondering which foodstuffs are going to last and where we can get supplies from.

Cerrertonia - yeah Trump and Repubs gone full MAGA against WTO (partly because they've had a few rulings they don't like).

Possibly might change depending on result of 2020 pres/house/senate elections.

Although not clear if Trump in 'good' position for relection or not. Polling in battleground states looks ok for him currently. Despite the likely impeachment.

I find myself torn. I pretty much expect a Tory majority. If I am honest I think a majority one way or the other is the only way forward. Another hung parliament and we are just back where we have been for 3 years.

Yes tend to agree roughly speaking fozzy.
Chrisull the bookies do get it wrong at times (right more often than not, hence very profitable businesses) . While they got "details" wrong in 2017 for example they still got who would be in power correct.
They rarely get a 1/20 v a 16/1 wrong.
