Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
I wish people would stop calling him Boris. It makes him lovable. Calling Corbyn by his surname makes him a figure of fear or disdain. Call him Johnson. Or as someone said eloquently on a Farcebook meme, "Call him the man who but the "n" in cuts". G

Chris you’ll be back tomorrow with a poll showing a hung parliament..... Farage’s lot seem to be imploding, that can’t be good even if this election will (finally) see the end of him politically. |

Voting intention of remainers/leavers summary on the beeb bbc.co.uk is quite interesting. The Brexit Party vote looks like it is getting squeezed out and most of it going Tory. A week is still a long time in politics, but I'm stocking up on canned food |

Chris (previous page) - I'd still hate a Tory victory but it would give me some hope for future elections if Starmer was the next Labour leader. I have a horrible feeling that the likes of Angela Rayner will be anointed as the next one up: Starmer's easily be most electable of the current front-bench but I don't think he's got enough votes within Labour to beat whoever Unite and or Momentum coalesce around... |

I've mostly lost hope and am just trying not to think about it too much. There's nothing I can do now, except mentally prepare myself for whoever I'll be working for next week.

I want to scream at everyone "How can you vote Tory, you completely mad person?" but apparently that's not the done thing. G
