Stander - brexit/remain may yet go either way.
For the moment I am delighted that the self-serving, arrogant, bandit chancer has been confirmed for what he is, which was too much for an important section of the “ruling elite.”

Absolutely correct Chrisull, the PM himself said prorogation was nothing to do with Brexit. Anyone who says otherwise would be making the accusation that Mr. Johnson had lied to the Queen. So I'm sure none of his party colleagues will say that.

I'm confused. Why would people who voted "Leave" be so upset about the ruling? Why are they so upset that parliament is trying to ensure that "the deal" is fair to all in this country? Thought they wanted to see the UK deal with UK affairs.
2017 electoral stats: 46 million eligible voters - from a total population of 66 million.

I see Mr. Farage has done a rapid reverse ferret. He's now calling on Dominic Cummings to resign, saying that prorogation is the worst political decision ever. It's only a couple of weeks since he was applauding it.

"Yes Fozzv [SIC] - doing exactly the opposite of what they were instructed to do. "
2 problems with this.
1. What were the actually instructed to do? (the referendum was legally advisory remember) 2. If you make the argument that the referendum should be followed, then let's try asking them to do something that's actually possible and not actual unicorn batshit mentally crazy.

1. Whether it is legally binding or not is completely irrelevant. The referendum result was the instruction.
2. Of course it's possible to do. Otherwise every single trade deal, treaty, contract or agreement ever made by anyone anywhere would be permanently binding. Might not be easy. But it is doable.

Ref was not an instruction, it was an opinion poll.

q: do you like the colour of this wall or should we paint it?
A: 37% of the population vote to paint it while 36% say leave it, 23% didn't or couldn't vote (or whatever the actual percentages were).
logical conclusion: WE MUST PAINT THE WALL PINK WITH LIME GREEN POLKADOTS IMMEDIATELY. IT IS THE UNDENIABLE WILL OF ALL OF THE PEOPLE, ANYONE WHO STANDS AGAINST IT IS A TRAITOR.
