New route?

Government reconvenes, calls for a VONC in itself and loses.

14 days and nobody able to form a new government.
25 days dissolution before a GE.

39 days. That's longe enough, no?

Errors, or planned actions? Corbyn looks supercharged at conference as he asks for Boris to walk the plank.

Yes about time really. That is something for another parliament.

Not sure what it all really means in terms of Brexit. I imagine parliament reconvenes. There is no consensus. We carry on as before. No Deal winning unless Johnson comes up with something the EU agrees too.

We're currently still leaving.....

Labour still next to useless.

The Benn act means we have to ask for a delay. If Johnson isn't in charge, it's whoever the current acting head does. The amendment to it means if no extension is asked for, it's made by the courts in its absence I believe.

I'd imagine VONC followed by an attempt at a unity govt may well be next. As in Italy, a general election doesn't have to be called (well done Cameron on the Fixed Terms Parliament Act - played a blinder), especially when the opposition are set to lose it.

"Labour still next to useless"

Completely agree. Which is why a VONC will not produce a new government. Every party is split and nobody would let the two loonies take charge (Corbyn or Swinson).
