5 inaugurals for me, all local but the only recent one is my current home parkrun that I've been to 80 times. The fact that the first run is largely kept secret absolutely works for me - I never know a new one is starting until it appears on my NENDY list.

I've done 8

3 make sense as I was involved in them and they are my most attended events

3 in Denmark , 1 of which no longer exists
Oxford which makes no sense to me at all

(these were all done between 2008 and 2012, all when I was properly invested in running and parkrun)
Bedworth in 2018, I'd moved to area and it was my home run

Mr J
I have done 44 inaugurals.

All before 2019.
Most of them were not that busy.
Would not go now as the numbers are far too large now. I can't find out about them anyway.

I have done three and they are all events that I still go to. I could have sworn I did Rickmansworth but it turns out that I went to event 3. What a good girl.

Groundhog - Tooting is my home run. I recommend leaving it for summer. The back path gets flooded and three times through that in winter is not fun. (One of the reasons I tour whenever possible).
Wendover Woods is also on my hit list.

Thanks for the Wilson index tip @Looby Loo. Turns out I've done 13, twelve of them from 2008-2018. The last of those being Lochore Meadows (which I ran again last Saturday) who were actively trying for a Scottish inaugural record. They had even negotiated discount vouchers for the cafe.

Never done an inaugural, the closest I have come is Cannon Hill #3 way back in 2010. Can't imagine we'll get another one close enough for me to know about it as we already have

I’ve volunteered at 3 inaugurals, all events I helped set up. Never run at one.
