Really interesting piece about volunteering and it's role in society, taking parkrun as an example. forkingpaths.co

Thank you Drell, that was a good read. On the subject of volunteering, we can finally order volunteer milestone vests. |

Always thought that I was too skinny for a vest, I aways cover my bony shoulders.

That's good I prefer the shape of the vests to the t-shirts.

The milestone vests are a great shape. I will probably order a V100 one and maybe a V250, but I have a V250 T which I should try converting rather than spending more money.

What's the fit on the vests? I'm looking a bit sausagey even in my large t-shirt which is a Tribesports one. (It feels ok, but ... the pictures .) ION, my mate got a new apricot shirt, and says it is sooo much lighter than the old one. (Mind you, in Scottish weather, that's not an unalloyed benefit.) |

That's a very nice piece, Drell. Brian Klaas writes a lot of interesting things on a lot of topics.
