Unless there's some really shonky ground underneath... no, I don't get it. Tell people to be careful yes, but cancel?

Sorry, but that's weird. Most parkrunners are adults and should be able to cope sensibly with a puddle. Let individuals decide if it is too dangerous for them! :-o

The old course at Milton Country park occasionally had a marshal for one specific deep puddle which had been the cause of several injuries. Not due to the depth of the puddle - it was due to people stopping and others going into the back of them.

I suppose that when the puddle is as wide as the path everyone just has to plough through you aren't going to have the problem of people dodging about or stopping, trying not to get their feet wet. Because you're going to get your feet wet whatever you do.

Oh people will still stop and Fanny about even if the whole path is covered, happens many a time at hazlehead!
