Health Secretary on Welsh Parkrun’s being cancelled:

“Parkrun has helped so many people improve their health across the UK.

I can't see how restricting outdoor exercise in this way is justified or proportionate."

Well, given the English govt has decided to avoid restrictions, that's a pretty consistent attitude being expressed.

Wales have taken a different view; that's devolution for you.

While it is true that the compliant sheep who voted Drakeford and Morgan in fully deserve their lot , Javid is perfectly entitled to speak up for runners wherever they are in the UK .Scottish parkruns currently hanging by a thread.

I think this is a fairly clear sign we are unlikely to see a return to restrictions on most forms of outdoor sport in England. No fan of the Tories but am relieved by this.
