Thanks AndyS! I also looked at the previous one and saw that it wasn't 735XT compatible.

I have a barcode I printed in 2008 and then covered in sticky back plastic to make it waterproof. It's managed 13 years. Longer than most phones. |

I'm going to take a blurry photo of a dog-eared crumpled barcode and go and cause trouble at our neighbouring parkrun on Saturday

And you can continue to use it because unlike in the days of Ned Ludd, this technological development isn't designed to exclude anyone from participation. So, hooray, I say. |

I'm going to take a blurry photo of a dog-eared crumpled barcode and go and cause trouble at our neighbouring parkrun on Saturday I once photocopied my phone's screen to take to Maidstone, for some reason I could access a photocopier but not print from my phone. It didn't scan, but as it was a barcode printed on paper they had to accept it so I was a written down unscannable. Which is completely farcical if you have equipment capable of scanning a phone screen. |

Thanks DG. I was highlighting the absurdity of modern life. |

And to highlight the absurdity of the previous position, we had two runners whose printed barcodes refused to be scanned by the app. The person scanning got the runners to take photos of said barcodes and then successfully scanned them from the screen!
